Coch
ise College will award one $1,000 Mary Horgan Scholarship to a Cochise County resident with a documented
disability in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). To maintain the scholarship, applicant must
maintain semester GPA of 2.0.
To Participate:
• Applicants must be enrolled full time (12 credits) and registered with the Disability Services Office at Cochise
Col
lege.
• Complete two-page application form, including three short essay questions
• Submit signed application, class schedule, unofficial transcripts, and letter of recommendation collectively to
the Disability Services Office by May 30th, 2020.
*current unofficial transcript (unofficial high school transcript acceptable for rising freshman)
*professional or personal letter of recommendation (i.e. Instructor, Advisor, Vocational Rehabilitation, etc.)
*candidates must apply yearly to be considered for scholarship
*one-year/ non-renewable
