STUDENT REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF REQUIREMENTS
At the discretion of the LLM Tax/Estate Planning Program Director, LLM students may request
that particular required courses be waived. Please note that there should be a valid educational
reason for requesting this waiver. Students must attach a one-page statement in support of
their request.
If requesting to waive a requirement due to the fact that an equivalent course was previously
completed at GGU or at another ABA-accredited law school more than five (5) years ago, course
descriptions and/or syllabi of those courses should be attached to this form.
If a student’s request for a waiver of required courses is granted, the student is still responsible
for completing the equivalent unit requirements toward their degree (24 in total).
