To be eligible to receive a student loan I must be enrolled in and attending at least 6 credit hours in a term
and maintaining a minimum 2.0 GPA, and have a complete processed FAFSA (Free Application for Federal
Student Aid), and a completed financial aid file, this file will include the following:
Entrance Counseling Session and the Master Promissory Note (MPN) located on
the Department of Education Direct Loan website at: www.studentaid.gov

Loans are disbursed in two installments one disbursement in the Fall and one disbursement in the Spring
Remaining funds will be placed on your student ID card after all tuition and fees have been paid if applicable.
Fall only and Spring only loans are disbursed twice in each term, two installments in Fall and two in Spring.
Loans will only be processed when all "Official" school transcripts are received when applicable.
I have read the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy of Student Financial Services as posted on the
FPC web page. I do have the option to change, modify or cancel my loan by submitting a written
request to the Financial Services Office.
