Do not use this form at the end of the year if your intent is to go inactive at the first of the following year. You can
complete that transfer by using the renewal form and selecting the option to renew in the inactive status.

Make fees payable to the Louisiana Real Estate Commission in the form of a personal or company check, cashier’s
check, or money order. Please do not send cash through the mail.

I aest that I am in compliance with R.S. 37:1449 of the Louisiana Real Estate License Law and LAC 46:LXVII.Subpart
1.2705 of the Commission Rules and Regulaons, if applicable to my license.
Furthermore, I request that my license be transferred to the inacve status. I understand that I am prohibited from
engaging in any activity requiring a real estate license during the period that my license is in the inactive status.
I acknowledge that the submission of this form to transfer to the inactive status will not renew my license. I
understand that I will still be required to renew my inactive license by the deadline of December 31st annually.
