The City of Kingston has a goal to continue to address Catch Basins. When Catch Basins are faulty,
crews repair and clean catch basins. Kingston will focus Catch Basin cleaning and inspection in
areas closest to Stormwater Outfalls using the newly completed sewershed maps to determine
priority
Catchbasins were cleaned and inspected, however with limited manpower, many preventive
measures are difficult to preform. Crews are assigned on an as needed basis.
1
The City of Kingston will continue to clean and inspect catchbasins, sweep streets and preform other
good housekeeping measures. The City of Kingston will work to better document each of these and
other measures with enhanced record keeping tools.
