) Information Sheet
An online Admissions Assessment
which is required for RAD applicants.
All applicants must achieve a
minimum score of 75% in all five
content areas to qualify for admission.
Tests must be taken during the program
application period. Refer to the
“Testing Schedule” section for testing
dates and registration period.
You may take the test once per
application period. Results are valid for
that application period only.
Submit the registration form with a
money order, cashier’s or bank
check for $40 payable to Kapiolani
Community College.
*CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS
WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The
registration form must be postmarked
or hand-carried to the Health Sciences
office by the registration deadline. Late
registrations will NOT be accepted.
Reading Comprehension – written
scenarios used to measure reading
comprehension: identifying the main
idea, finding meaning of words in
context, passage comprehension,
making logical inferences, etc.
Vocabulary and General Knowledge -
vocabulary terms commonly used in
both general English-speaking settings
and in health care fields.
Grammar - basic grammar, including
parts of speech, important terms and its
use in grammar, and commonly
occurring grammatical errors.
Math - math skills needed for health
care fields, including basic addition,
subtraction, multiplication, fractions,
decimals, ratio and proportion,
household measures, and general math
facts useful for calculating drug
dosages and solutions.
Anatomy & Physiology - general
terminology and anatomical structures.

online.
Tests may be rescheduled IF space is
available AND the change is made a
minimum of one week prior to the date.
Tests will be administered on the
Kapiolani Community College campus.
Examinees will be informed of the test
date and location via e-mail after the
registration period closes. Tests will be
administered from 9:00am-3:00pm.
Scores are available via your Evolve
account immediately upon completion
of your test, and will be available for
your review at any time.
