Introduction to the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP)
The NDP is a way for local people who live or work in Keynsham to have a say in the planning and future
development of their area. We are working on a plan looking forward for at least 15 years, and one
which should
Develop a shared vision of Keynsham
Influence the kind of residential, commercial/industrial development that we need in Keynsham
Identify local Green Spaces and other treasured, local assets
Influence planning for Roads, Transport and Ways in the area
Develop great community facilities for our town
Instructions
Individual Surveys can be completed by EVERY PERSON in your household it is particularly important
that young people and children are encouraged and helped to fill in their own consultation responses
which are available from the following points:
The survey is also available on-line at the following link:
For children AGED 11 OR UNDER, there is a special survey for them on play areas that they are filling in at
school.
For children and young people between 11 and 19, we would encourage them to complete this
consultation on recreation and green spaces as it is important, they tell us what facilities/activities for
recreation and leisure they want to see in Keynsham over the next 20 years. We will be taking this into
secondary schools
