Academics
• Ifyouhavenotchosenamajor,makethisahighpriority.Findupperclassstudentswhoaremajoringin
thesubjectsyouareconsidering,theycantellyoutherealitiesofthecourseofstudy.
• Evenifyourmindismadeupregardingyourmajorchoice,considerthecoursesequencesforadierent
major.Also,consideraminor.Minorsarefrequentlyoverlookedandcanbeasourceofgreatinterest.
• Participateinthe“MajorFair”eventanddeclareyourmajorand/orminor/emphasis.
• Ifyouhavedeclaredyourmajor,meetwithafacultyadvisortoacquiretheirexpertiseandassistance
inthemajor.Ifyouhavenotdeclaredamajor,meetwithfacultyadvisorsfromprospectivemajorsto
