Additional Guidelines
(1) Completed applications and letters need to be submitted to rcac@westga.edu by November 1
st
for
spring semester trips and April 1
st
for summer and/or fall semester trips. You may also bring completed
forms to the Richards College Advising Center in Miller Hall.
(2) Students will be notified via UWG email if they have received an award.
(3) In order to receive the award, a student must have at least a 2.5 GPA and be enrolled at UWG with
the intention of participating in a RCOB study abroad program or student exchange program during the
semester of the award.
(4) International program scholarships are not awarded to students who are classified as non-resident
aliens.
As
the student receiving scholarship funds is a representative of the University of West Georgia, any
inappropriate behavior as deemed by the Dean places these distributed funds in jeopardy. Thus, these
funds may be voided to include the repayment of such funds by the student.
