This position is located within the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Information Systems
(OIS). The purpose of this position is to perform all necessary development, maintenance and expansion of the
website contents, graphics and interactive functionality to ensure that requirements of all technical and target
customers groups are met for DCRA technical projects in the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and
Regulatory Affairs.
Coordinates web contents and development when necessary with the Office of the Chief Technology Officer.
Ensures development and maintenance of website content, graphic and interactive functionality consistent with
identified requirements of target technical customer groups. Manages cross functional website content
development effort as well as develops and edits as appropriate. Coordinates with content authors, managers and
end users to ensure the agency's website meeting the DC Governments. Analyzes website usage reports and
other sources of internal and external information, including competing and/or industry web sites, to identify
sources of improvement and expansion. Presents recommendation for site enhancements. Assists agency online
editor, content editor and technology communications manager to develop and maintain agency websites.
Provides support and assistance to administrations to ensure information is continuously updated. Researches
and evaluates new web related technologies, and creates actions for new future intranet web applications.
Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics,
operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester
hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications,
systems or networks. Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies
listed below:

This position requires one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the District of
Columbia government. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular
competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or
related to the work of the position to be filled.
