Terms of Use for the I E-VERIFY™ (Seal)
Company Name:
The Participant/Employer requesting use of the I E-VERIFY ™ (Seal), must be enrolled and maintain an active
E-Verify account.
Participation means subscribing to the general goals and objectives of the E-Verify program, including
advertising participation in, and promotion efforts of the E-Verify program.
The Participant/Employer shall agree to the following:
The I E-VERIFY™ (Seal) may only be used to promote the Employer’s use of E-Verify and does not imply any
endorsement or certification of a particular business by the federal government. Nor does it replace E-Verify
program requirements to post both the E-Verify Participation poster and the Right to Work poster.
The E-Verify Participant/Employer agree that posting of the I E-VERIFY™ (Seal) is not a guarantee or
assumption of compliance with employee verification laws and no such guarantee or assumption shall be
awarded for simply displaying the Seal.
The E-Verify Participant/Employer acknowledges that the use or placement of the Seal will not preclude
Federal agents from conducting worksite enforcement activities and is not intended to provide a safe harbor for
the Employer.
The E-Verify Participant/Employer agrees to only use the digitized image file that is provided by USCIS and
Participant shall not alter or modify this image or features of the trademark, including color or any element of
the trademark, in any way. The I E-VERIFY™ (Seal) shall not be posted on your company’s website.
The E-Verify Participant/Employer agree that it will not use the Seal in a disparaging manner or one that
subjects the E-Verify program, the USCIS, or DHS to disrepute.
The E-Verify participant’s breach of any of the terms and conditions of this request shall automatically
terminate the permission granted by this Terms of Use.
This Terms of Use is not effective until it has been approved and initialed by an appropriate USCIS official.
I have read and understand the terms and conditions for use of the I E-VERIFY™ (Seal), and am authorized by
my organization to accept the terms and conditions as set forth by United States Citizenship and Immigration
Services and to sign on my organization’s behalf.
