INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AGREEMENT FORM
1. I will attend all iJam events and all required mandatory ISC workshops. If I do not attend, I understand that a
hold will be placed on my record and I will not be able to register for classes.
2. I will always register for classes no later than my priority registration date and time. I understand that failure to
enroll in at least 12 units will put me out of status and I will be terminated in SEVIS.
3. I will not drop below 12 units during the Fall and Spring semesters.
4. I will not add more than one 3‐unit online class per semester.
5. I understand I can only register for class es that meet on the Main PCC campus or Community Education Center
(CEC) campus. I cannot register for classes that meet at PCC Rosemead campus or the local high schools.
6. Before I stop attending or drop a class, I will go to ISC for advice.
7. I understand that the teacher does not need my authorization to drop me from any class due to my absences. If
I’m dropped by my teacher and fall below 12 units, I am out of status.
8. I will study hard and maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 2.0 (Average Grade “C”).
9. I will register in Counseling 10 class in my first semester (applies to students in ESL 420, 422, & 122) or College 1
(applies to students in ESL 33A, 33B, ENGL 100, & ENGL 1A).
10. I will schedule an appointment to see a counselor for information on transfer, education plan, choosing a major,
to add or drop a class, and whenever I have problems in class.
11. I will not register for or attend classes at another college without written permission from the ISC, or an official
transfer approved by the ISC.
12. I will read all the information on the second page of my I‐20 and be sure I understand it and sign my I‐20.
13. I will keep my passport and I‐20 valid at all times. I will provide the ISC with a copy of my renewed passport.
14. I will buy International Student Medical Insurance through PCC and maintain the policy at all times.
15. I will not work on or off campus without the approval from the ISC and/or the United States Citizenship &
Immigration Services (USCIS).
16. I will report to ISC any changes in my residence address, phone number, e‐mail, major, or other changes within
10 days.
17. I will maintain an active e‐mail account and regularly check my e‐mail account for important notices from the
ISC.
18. I will report to the ISC within 3 working days of receiving an email from the International Student Center that
requires immediate attention.
19. I will come to the ISC for a travel signature before I buy my airline ticket.
20. I understand if I leave the United States for any reason there is no guarantee that I will be able to return. I
further understand that if I violate any of the above, I may be subject to dismissal from Pasadena City College
and that my dismissal will be reported to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
