SERVICE LEARNING PROPOSAL
Winthrop University Honors Program
This form must be submitted prior to conducting the work necessary for
receiving service learning credit. There are three options for satisfying this
requirement: 1) successfully completing a service learning course or
independent study project where you receive course credit; 2) completing a
service learning project through the Office of Career Development and Service
Learning located in Crawford; or 3) being a member of SIFE, Close Scholars,
Teaching Fellows or AmeriCorps or participating in the Washington Semester
Program. On the back of this form are courses previously taught that have
service learning components (taught by that professor), but you must check
ahead of time with that professor to see if that is currently the case. This may
change on a semester basis.
