SPECIFICATIONS
1. Only new standard culvert pipe shall be installed. Concrete or corrugated metal pipe, meeting
I.D.O.T. specifications, shall be used. Minimum culvert diameter size is 18 inches.
2. Owner is responsible for costs of labor and material for entrance.
3. Size and length of culvert to be in accordance with the County’s recommendations and top of
driveway shall be a minimum of 24 feet wide.
4. All driveways shall be surfaced with a minimum of 2” crushed rock.
5. The County will assume maintenance two years after installation and may remove any driveway not
built to these specifications.
6. After the County takes over maintenance of the driveway, all materials become the property of the
County.
