In order to be considered for the University Honors Scholarship, the following materials must accompany this application:
1. A 300-500 word statement which describes your research project. Please indicate whether special materials or
travel will be necessary to the research and what results you anticipate (a paper, exhibit, public presentation, for
example). Also indicate whether you will enroll for independent study credits (specify how many credits).
2. A working copy of your most recent transcript. An unofficial transcript is fine.
3. A recommendation letter from the faculty member who will supervise your research.
