Family member of full time faculty or staff (40% tuition grant) Starts Fall 2011
Grants will be offered to members of the immediate family. We define immediate family to be a spouse, domestic partner,
parent, grandparent, child (biological, step‐, and adopted), grandchild, or sibling (families of siblings are excluded).
Family member of adjunct faculty (30% tuition grant) Starts Spring 2012
Members of the adjunct faculty's family defined as a spouse, domestic partner, child and step-child are eligible for a 30 per cent
tuition grant. Regular adjunct faculty are defined as active adjuncts who have taught a minimum of three class-sections in the
previous three academic years. Active for the purposes of this grant means eligible to continue to teach. (Adjunct faculty,
themselves who do not qualify for or choose to decline the GGU Employee Educational Assistance program are eligible for this
grant.)
Graduate of GGU degree program* (30% tuition grant) Starts Fall 2011
Graduates of GGU degree programs are eligible for 30 per cent tuition grant. For the purpose of this grant, a graduate is defined
as an individual who has received a degree from GGU. Students who have received only a GGU certificate are not eligible.
Family member of GGU graduate (20% tuition grant) Starts Spring 2012
Members of a graduate's family are defined as a spouse, domestic partner, child and step-child are eligible for a 20 per cent
tuition grant. For the purpose of this grant, a graduate is defined as an individual who has received a degree from GGU.
Note: The GGU Community Tuition Assistance Grants are directly from Golden Gate University. Income, assets nor number of
enrolled units is a factor in determining eligibility for these grants.
