Graduate of GGU degree program (30% Tuition Grant)
Graduates’ of GGU pursing a new degree program are eligible for this grant. A graduate is defined as an individual graduating with a degree
program from GGU (excludes: Associates’ degrees and Certificates).
Family member of GGU graduate (20% Tuition Grant)
Grant is offered when a family member graduated with a degree program from GGU (excludes: Associates’ degrees and Certificates)
Family member of full-time Faculty or Staff (40% Tuition Grant)
Grant is offered to Faculty or Staff members’ immediate family. We define immediate family to be; a spouse, domestic partner, parent,
grandparent, child (biological, step-child, and adopted), grandchild, or sibling (families of siblings are excluded).
Family member of Adjunct Faculty (30% Tuition Grant)
Grant is offered to Adjunct Faculty members’ immediate family. We define immediate family to be a spouse, domestic partner, parent,
grandparent, child (biological, step-child, and adopted), grandchild, or sibling (families of siblings ae excluded. Regular Adjunct Faculty is
defined as active Adjuncts who have taught a minimum of three class-sections in the previous three academic years. Active for the purposes of
this grant means eligible to continue to teach. (Adjunct Faculty, themselves who do not qualify for or choose to decline the GGU Employee
Educational Assistance Program are eligible for this grant).
I am submitting my application for the GGU Community Tuition Assistance Grant (CTAG). My signature below indicates that
all of the above statements are true and correct to the best of my knowledge:
I understand I must submit this form by the priority deadline which is the start of the term I am applying for.
I understand as soon as I am able to register for each term, I must email the Financial Aid Office (FAO) at
finaid@ggu.edu with my Full Name, Student ID Number and the exact number of units. Upon receipt of the email,
the GGU CTAG grant will be applied onto my account.
I understand I may only receive one grant, scholarship, or tuition discount per trimester from Golden Gate University
(GGU); all GGU Grants are applied towards tuition. If I am receiving outside sources to cover tuition costs, such as
Employer Reimbursement, VA benefits, Scholarships, and/or Grants, all sources received may not exceed tuition costs
for the term.
I understand the application deadline for this scholarship is the last day of the term, for which I am applying for.
I understand the grant is not retroactive and cannot be applied to terms that have been completed prior to the
submission of this form.
The GGU CTAG grant is not applicable to Golden Gate School of Law programs or classes.
If my enrollment plans change, I must notify the FAO immediately. This may result in a re-evaluation of my eligibility
for the GGU CTAG grant.
