fullest extent. Your cache is welcome on Hardin County Conservation property, pursuant to the terms of this
permit.

Geocache Placement Guidelines
1. A Geocache Placement Permit must be filed with and approved by Hardin County Conservation Board
staff before posting the cache on a geocaching website. Caches in place prior to 3-01-08 are exempt
from this rule.
2. Groundspeak, Inc. has posted Cache Listing Requirements/Guidelines on their geocaching.com website.
At a minimum, this cache must follow their guidelines.
3. All state and local laws apply.
4. The cache container should be clearly marked on the outside with the name of the cache and
“Geocaching, com”.
5. The permit is good from the date issued until March 1 of the following year. After that date you must
renew the permit or remove the cache. Please notify the HCCB if you remove the cache prior to the
permit expiration date.
6. The HCCB reserves the right to deny or revoke this permit for placement of a cache on county property
for any reason at any time. Canes that fail to comply with these guidelines will be removed from the
property. The HCCB will notify the permit applicant if this occurs.
7. The HCCB requests that you monitor this cache at least every two months and that you maintain it to be
family friendly. he cache should contain no food, alcohol, firearms, drugs, dangerous items or adult
items.
