The Gene Haas Foundation, announces the 2019 Gene Haas Scholarship for Machine
Technology at San Jose City College.
Under the scholarship program, fifteen (15) scholarships will be awarded to students who
plan on completing a Machine Technology Certificate Level 1. The scholarship will cover
tuition and lab fees.
Program Guidelines & Priorities:
* Seeking individuals who are interested in beginning a rewarding career as a Machinist.
* Applicants must be in good academic standing and plan on completing the Machine Technology Level 1 certification
at San Jose City College.
* Level 1 Certificate: 18 Units
MACH120: Basic CNC Machining Center/CNC Mill (4.5 Units)
MACH123: Basic CNC Lathe (4.5 Units)
MACH126: Advanced CNC Machining Center and Turning Center (4.5 Units)
MACH129: CNC Programming and Operations (4.5 Units)
Scholarships will be awarded for the 2019-2020 academic school year. Applications will be awarded on a first come
first serve basis.
