ORDINANCE No. 2354 states, …“If deemed necessary for public safety, the Police Department will establish
“NO PARKING ”and “ONE WAY” traffic flow zones for group sales. Signage for group sales to be furnished by
the Bedford Police Department. Upon approval of an application submitted, the City will furnish the applicant
with an exhibit depicting approved traffic flows, required traffic devises, signage, and an estimate of Public
Safety man hours involved including all related cost to be paid by the applicant at the time of permit issuance in
addition to the permit fee. No group shall display, offer to sell, or sell used personal property in the City of
Bedford, more than one (1) time during a 365-day period. No more than one group sale shall occur during a
designated time period. ”(Copies of complete ordinance available upon request).
The Homeowners Association receives three directional signs at no cost. The homeowner receives one sign for
their home. The cost is $10.00 for each residence. If you are picking up multiple permits for the association,
each individual’s application and money must be submitted five days prior to the sale.
