GUARDIAN’S BOND
The undersigned guardian is obligated to the Vermont Superior Court, Probate Division, in the sum of

without surety
with___________________________ of ___________________________ as personal surety,
with___________________________ of ___________________________ as corporate surety,
to secure the performance of the following duties:
1. File with the court within 30 days of issuance of the Appointment of Guardian a true inventory of all of
the real and personal property of the respondent.
2. Manage and dispose of the estate and effects according to law and for the best interests of the
respondent and faithfully discharge the obligation in relation thereto.
3. Render an account of the property of the respondent within one year after the appointment and
annually thereafter and at any time as the court may require.
4. Upon termination of this fiduciary obligation, render and settle a final account and pay over and deliver
the estate and remaining effects to persons legally entitled to them.
When these duties are fully performed, this bond shall no longer be in force.
