FEE INFORMATION: License Renewals are charged the full yearly amount, regardless of when they are submitted.
HOME OCCUPATION: Do you conduct business out of your home? No. (If no, skip to next section)
Yes. If your business is based out of a residential dwelling unit (home, condominium, apartment, accessory
dwelling unit, etc.), you may be required by the Sherwood Municipal Code Chapter 16: Sherwood Zoning and
Community Development Code section 16.42 to obtain a Home Occupation Permit.
To determine if a Home Occupation permit is needed, please fill out the Home Occupation
Application and contact the Sherwood Planning Department: 503.925.2308.

I understand that, if I am operating my business out of my home in Sherwood, I must submit a Home
Occupation Application permit through the Planning Department and that additional fees may apply.
I have contacted the planning department or otherwise confirmed that the use of my business is permitted in
the location proposed.
I understand that I need to obtain permits from the building department prior to a remodel.
I understand that I may need a new occupancy permit from the building department if my use is different from
the prior use.
I understand that this business license does not mean that I have obtained proper approvals, from building
or planning and failure to obtain proper approvals, even with a valid business license, could result in
enforcement action being taken.
