Declaration or Change of Marquette Core Curriculum Discovery Tier Theme: Undergraduate
Purpose: Used by undergraduate students who were admitted or readmitted to Marquette in Fall 2018 or beyond, to declare which Marquette Core Curriculum (MCC) Discovery Tier
Theme they wish to pursue, or to change a previously selected Discovery Tier Theme.
Student Instructions:
1. Complete Sections 1 & 2 of this form using a computer.
a. a handwritten form will not be accepted.
b. an incomplete form will not be processed and returned to you for completion.
2. Print the form using the 'Print Form' button.
3. Sign the form in Section 3; a digital signature is not acceptable.
4. Submit the completed form via one of the methods listed at the bottom of this form.
5. Once your request has been processed, your Discovery Tier Theme choice will be reflected on your Academic Advisement report in CheckMarq.
Notes:
a. changes to the MCC Discovery Tier may affect graduation requirements. Consult your Academic Advisor with any questions.
b. an MCC Discovery Tier Theme must be declared for Academic Advisement (degree audit) to accurately track degree progress and completion of the MCC Discovery Tier Theme requirements.
c. this declaration must be submitted no later than the term in which a student reaches sixty credits, which includes any credits for which students are currently registered.
