Form I-20: The Certificate of Visa Eligibility for Nonimmigrant F-1 Student Status is commonly known as the I-20.
This is the document issued by a school through the internet-based Student and Exchange Visitor Information
System (SEVIS) for presentation at a U.S. consulate abroad to apply for an F-1 Student visa; it must also be
presented to an immigration official upon entry into the U.S.
Your passport and I-20 form MUST match in order for you to be issued an F-1 visa stamp and be admitted
into the United States to study. Please PRINT your information EXACTLY as it appears in your passport.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FROM THE U.S. GOVERNMENT:
All applicants for a non-immigrant student visa are required to pay a $350 SEVIS fee. Please visit
the U.S. Immigration website for more information. This fee must be paid and receipt printed before
the applicant arrives at the consulate/embassy for the visa interview.
