Model
The data shows the number of miles a person walked each week for the last 8 weeks.
The measures of center are the mean and
median.
Mean: Add all the values in the data set and
divide by the number of observations.
Median: Order the data from least to greatest and
cross out 1 value from each end until you arrive
at the center value.
Since there are 2 values in the center, add them
together and divide in half.
