The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program provides job opportunities for students who qualify for need-
based aid, allowing them to earn money to help pay for their education. The FWS Program encourages
community service work and jobs related to your course of study, when possible. Wages for the FWS Pro-
gram are $10.00 per hour, paid in arrears on the 15th and 30th of each month. The total FWS award de-
pends on when you apply, your need level, and our FWS Program funding for the current academic year.
If you are interested in participating in the FWS Program for this academic year, please complete this form
and return it to the Financial Aid Office. After receiving your request, the Financial Aid Office will evaluate
your eligibility and then forward additional information to you. FWS Program funds are limited and there-
fore they are awarded to students on a first-come-first-served basis. Once funds have been used no addi-
tional awards can be made. If you have any questions regarding your financial aid please contact us.
