Rules and Regulations for use of Roll-Off Containers
1.
All
material
placed
in
container
must
be
at
below
fill
line
on
container.
No
material
within
should
extend above the top or sides of the container.
2.
No
liquids,
batteries,
electronics,
paint
or
petroleum
based
products,
tires,
dirt,
hazardous
materials
or large metal parts are allowed in the container unless specifically marked.
3.
Once
a
container
is
placed,
all
communication
regarding
the
container
should
be
di
rected
to
Keep
Augusta Beautiful by calling (706)-312-4125 or emailing keepaugbeautifulvm@augustaga.gov.
4.
Please
do
not
attempt
to
move
the
container.
We
can
relocate
if
necessary.
Damage
will
occur
if
correct equipment is not utilized.
5.
The
container’s
use
is
for
a
time
not
to
exceed
6
days
(Thursday
to
Tuesday)
,
if
a
delay
is
warranted,
the Operations Manager will discuss with the NS.
6.
You
must
contact
Keep
Augusta
Beautiful
if
the
contai
ner
is
to
be
dumped
and
removed
prior
to
the
end of your event.
7.
A
ten-foot
space
on
the
back
and
a
five-foot
space
on
the
sides
of
the
container
must
be
maintained.
Do
not
block
the
front
of
the
container.
The
ten-foot
space
in
the
rear
is
necessary
for
opening
the
rear door for loading the container and for pickup and delivery.
8.
Application needs to be submitted 14 to 30 days prior to the event date for processing and approval.
We
are
pleased
to
help
with
your
disposal
needs
at
Environmental
Services.
We
ask
for
responsible
safe
use
of
our
containers.
This
prevents
harm
or
damage
to
our
containers,
to
you,
and
our
personnel.
We
ask
for
a
signature
on
the
bottom
of
this
form
as
acknowledgement
of
your
agreement
to
these
rules
and
regulations.
