Financial Aid' Office
2020-2021
Financial Aid Timeframe Review
Students receiving federal financial aid are expected to complete their degree in a timely manner, within a set "Maximum
Timeframe". Because there is a limit to how much financial aid a student can receive in a lifetime, it is important to
carefully plan out your educational objectives.
You are being asked to see an academic counselor for one of the following reasons:
• You have attempted 75 or more credits at KCC and should be close to graduating or completing pre-requisites to be
admitted into one of KCC's programs that require admissions/acceptance.
• You have attempted an excessive number of credits or have already completed a degree at KCC, and you are
seeking another degree at the college.
Please m
ake an appointment with an academic counselor to review your status so we can determine how many credits
of financial aid eligibility you have remaining.
