You must file this motion with the Landlord and Tenant Board no later than 10 days after the date the order
was issued. Once it is filed, the Board will schedule a hearing. Once you receive a copy of the Notice of
Hearing and a copy of the motion you should take them to the Sheriff’s office immediately.
If you file this motion no later than 10 days after the date the order was issued, the order will be stayed.
This means it cannot be enforced. At the hearing, the Board will decide whether to set aside the order. If
the Board decides to set aside the order a new order will be issued.
