The Honor System is a long-cherished tradition and a basis for all life at Meredith College. Based upon the
principles of integrity, fulfillment of community obligations and responsibility to others, the purpose of the Honor
System is to maintain an atmosphere of trust and honor throughout the Meredith community. The willingness of
each student to accept full responsibility for her actions and to abide by the standards set by her peers is impera-
