ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
•
Candidates must be a resident of Prince George’s County and a U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen.
•
Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
•
Candidates must be in good academic and financial standing at PGCC.
•
Current or former PGCC Workforce Development and Continuing Education student who has successfully
completed course requirements and earned certificate or credential in approved WDCE tracks.
(Hospitality, Police Academy, Early Childhood, or Computers and Information Technology) within the
previous 1-year period.
•
Degree seeker. Scholarship award may only be applied to the academic program associated with the
related WDCE track.
ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED WITHIN THE APPLICATION PACKET – Priority Deadline JUNE 1
Completed and signed scholarship application.
Proof of Prince George’s County Residency (copy of state issued ID).
Two letters of recommendation.
Written Essay (200-300 words) describing why you deserve to receive this scholarship.
If selected as an Envision Success Scholar, students must sign a letter of intent agreeing to the following:
1.
Participate in special scholarships programming (10 hours of service per semester required).
2.
Maintain a minimum cumulative 2.5 grade point average.
3.
Must maintain full-time (maximum 15 credits) or part-time (minimum 6 credits) enrollment per semester.

Please note: This scholarship provides tuition and fees to students for one year (2 semesters – fall and spring). The award
amount will be calculated after all other resources have been applied to tuition and fees.
