Elementary Education majors who complete the 22 hours of courses for the
minor and a 6-credit hour Supervised Internship in Early Childhood Education
are eligible for the PTSB Early Childhood Birth- age 8 Endorsement.
FCSC majors who complete the 22 hours of courses for the minor and a 6-
credit hour Child Development Internship are eligible for the PTSB Preschool
3-5 Endorsement.
EDEC 1020, Introduction to Early Childhood must be completed with
a minimum final grade of C prior to declaring the minor.
Minor content GPA must be a minimum of 2.50 to complete the
minor.
Please note that all required courses and the chosen elective must
be completed BEFORE a student plans to graduate from the major
program.
A maximum of 7 credits can be accepted for both the Elementary
Education major and the ECE minor.
