b.) I acknowledge that I must maintain the amount of security required by Chapter 1704
during the time I hold the license.
5. I intend to execute non-exempt real estate property, which I own, in trust to the Bail
Bond Board if the application is approved.

a.) If Yes, I have provided a list of the nonexempt real property that includes the
following for each parcel listed:
(1.) A legal description of the property that would be sufficient to convey the property
by general warranty deed.
(2.) A current statement from each taxing unit authorized to impose taxes on the
property showing that there is no outstanding tax lien against the property.
(3.) Net value according to a current appraisal made by a real estate appraiser who is
a member in good standing of a nationally recognized professional appraiser
society or trade organization that has an established code of ethics, educational
program, and professional certification program; OR value according to
statement from county’s most recent certified tax appraisal roll.
b.) I agree to keep all taxes paid on the property while it remains in trust, and to provide
proof of payment on the anniversary of the granting of the application or upon
demand of the Board.
c.) I agree not to further encumber the property conveyed in trust unless Board is
notified to intent and permits encumbrance.
d.) I agree to maintain insurance on any property improvements against damage or
destruction in full amount of value claimed for improvements.
e.) I agree to name El Paso County Bail Bond Board as the beneficiary on the insurance
policy for improvements, and to provide proof of insurance upon granting of the
license, or any time upon requested of the Board.
f.) If the application is approved, I understand that no later than the 90
th
day after the
date of receipt of notice that the application was conditionally approved I must:
(1.) Execute in trust to the board each deed to property listed on the application
with an appraised value of all property combined and totaling not less than
$50,000.
(2.) Pay a filing fee to record each deed of trust in the records of each county in
which the property is located.
g.) I acknowledge that I must maintain the amount of security as required by Chapter
1704 during the time I hold the license.

i.) If married, spouse:
(1.) My spouse has submitted a sworn statement agreeing to transfer to the
board, as part of trust, any right, title, or interest that my spouse may have in
the property.
