Rules for End Punctuation
• Use a period (.) to end a sentence that gives information or instructions.
Example: Taking selfies can be fun.
• Use a question mark (?) to end a sentence that asks a question.
Example: What would you do to get a cool selfie?
• Use an exclamation mark (!) to end a sentence that expresses emotion or excitement.
Example: Yes, that’s a real volcano—and yes, it’s erupting!
