INSTRUCTIONS
1. Review yo
ur Degree Works in Web4U. Contact your department(s) for major/minor evaluation(s) a month prior to the
deadline. Departments can approve evaluation in three different ways: (1) Note in Degree Works, (2) signed PDF of Degree Works
or (3) scanned signed evaluation. If approved by Degree Works Notes, only a Degree Application needs to be submitted.
2. Fill out Degree Application in its entirety. To save your entries, "PRINT" as PDF after completing the form.
3. Submit Degree Application and any signed major/minor evaluation(s) together by email to DegreeEval@wwu.edu.
Exceptions: Fairhaven Students: Contact the main office of Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies
Off-Campus Extension Program Students: Contact your program support staff for deadlines and application packets
WWU Graduation Requirements:
Minimum 180 credits
Minimum 60 upper-division (300-400 level) credits
Minimum 45 credits completed in residence (enrolled at WWU)
Minimum of three writing proficiency (WP) points with a grade of C- or better
Attend final quarter in residence (enrolled through WWU)
Satisfied the GURs or have a DTA
Western GPA of at least 2.00

Commencement reservations are available during a student’s graduation quarter and will guarantee your spot at the ceremony and guest tickets.
The Commencement participation fee includes cap, gown, tassel and diploma cover, and is separate from the degree application fee.
Our Degree Evaluators will send a copy of your completed degree evaluation to your student email address.
Note: Incomplete applications cannot be processed. They will be returned and therefore may not meet the deadline.
