Terms & Conditions of Auditing
As per California Education Code Title 5, Section 76370, BP 4070 & AP 4070.
The student is NOT permitted to change their enrollment in a class for credit to audit and; the
student is NOT permitted to change their enrollment in a class for audit to credit.
The student may request to audit a course AFTER the second class meeting.
The instructor, in consultation with the student, will determine classroom policies for students who
audit, including attendance, participation, assignments, and the evaluation of coursework.
The student must be eligible for regular admissions and enrollment and meet the prerequisite(s) for
the course(s) requesting to audit.
The student is required to pay the current, nonrefundable Audit Fee and other associated
Registration Fees (i.e. Student Services Fees, Parking Fee, etc.).
A student enrolled in courses for credit totaling 10+ units in a given term is eligible to have the Audit
Fee waived permitting they are enrolled to audit 3 or fewer units in the same term. *Note: Students
are responsible for requesting the waiver of eligible Audit Fees from the Cashier’s Office.

regulations set forth in Title 5 Education Code, Section 76370 and BP/AP 4070. I acknowledge that I
have read and understand the aforementioned regulations.
