2021 TUNXIS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

STUDENTS: By completing this application, you will apply for all Tunxis Community College Foundation scholarships
available to Tunxis students. Be sure to sign and date it, include all attachments and return it to the Financial Aid
Office in person, by mail, email
tx-finaid@tunxis.edu or fax, (860)606-9745 by Friday, February 20, 2021.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: These steps MUST be completed or your submission will be considered ineligible.
1. Submit a typed, one-page essay answering the following question:
What do you plan to do after graduating from Tunxis? (separate attachment)
2. Provide a copy of your Tunxis Community College transcript.
3. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.
4. Must have successfully completed 12 credit hours at Tunxis Community College.
5. Must be enrolled in a credit or non-credit program(s) at Tunxis Community College in Summer 2021,
and/or Fall 2021.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Scholarship awards are in the form of vouchers to be presented to the Tunxis Business Office
upon receipt and applied as credit towards tuition, fees, and campus bookstore purchases related to course of study
(credit and/or non-credit programs).
