Custer County Farm Bureau Scholarship Application
Application for College Students
Custer County is offering scholarships available to college students who (1) live in or
attend school in Custer County, Nebraska, (2) are enrolled in an agriculture or related
field, and (3) are members of Custer County Farm Bureau.
To ensure accurate disbursement please fill out the following information to the
best of your knowledge.

Parent/guardians’ Farm Bureau membership number (applicant or applicant’s
parent/guardian):
Please include the following items for consideration:
1. Personal statement/narrative in 500 words or less, which must be anonymous.
Include: Your goals, interests, career choices, and why you should be considered for
this scholarship.
2. Most recent transcript(s)
3. Two letters of recommendation addressing your potential for success:
a. One must be from a professor, academic advisor or dean;
b. Another from a non-family member
In the event I am chosen to receive a scholarship, Custer County Farm Bureau/Nebraska
Farm Bureau Foundation has the authorization to use my name and photo for publicity.
