Introduction
Cressing Parish Council are in the process of producing a neighbourhood plan. The plan has
been submitted (under Reg 15) to Braintree District Council. A Consultation (Reg 16) is now
taking place. Three other documents are also included in this consultation.
Following the Reg 16 consultation the Neighbourhood Plan will go before an independent
examiner who will make a decision as to whether or not the plan can go to a referendum.
Adopted Neighbourhood Plans become part of the Development Plan and are taken into
consideration during the determination of planning applications.
The documents can be viewed via the councils website and hard copies are available during
normal working hours at: Braintree District Council Offices,Causeway House. St Barnabas Hall,
Claude Ince Ave Cressing and Braintree Library.
Responses are encouraged via the council’s online consultation system available on the
website, see www.braintree.gov.uk/consultlp However, this form can be returned electronically
to neighbourhoodplans@braintree.gov.uk or in hard copy if necessary by 15th July 2019 to:
