transactions made before or after the time your account is closed) will become
payable immediately. Kiwibank may continue to charge you interest on the
principal amount of the amount owing until it’s paid in full. We may debit any other
account you have with us for the amount owing. Please call us on 0800 521 521
option 1 to get information on your closing balance.
The travel insurance is only applicable to the Kiwibank Platinum Visa card and
the Air New Zealand Airpoints Platinum Visa card.

Use of personal information
I/We authorise Kiwibank to deal with my/our personal information in accordance with
Kiwibank Credit Card Terms and Conditions, available online at kiwibank.co.nz or at my

our use of the Airpoints Credit Card (e.g. transactions information) or Airpoints
membership may be disclosed between, and may be used and disclosed by, Air
New Zealand and Kiwibank
> information collected about me/us will be used by Kiwibank primarily for opening,
operating and administering my/our Airpoints Credit Card and by Air New Zealand
primarily for administering the Airpoints programme, crediting my Airpoints
account with Airpoints Dollars and Status Points, and/or providing me/us with
Airpoints programme rewards and benefits.
I/We also authorise Kiwibank and Air New Zealand to use or disclose information about
me/us for the purposes of:
> improving services and/or benefits offered to me/us in respect of the Airpoints
> furthering the relationship between me/us and Kiwibank and/or Air New Zealand,
including by identifying and presenting offers for products, services or promotions
from Kiwibank and/or Air New Zealand;
> identifying and marketing the products, services or promotions of Kiwibank and Air
New Zealand’s third party partners that may be

I/We (the primary cardholder and any joint cardholder) understand that Kiwibank
may credit check me/us. As part of that credit check, Kiwibank may give my/our
information to credit reporting agencies, and credit reporting agencies may give my/our
information to Kiwibank. Kiwibank may also provide information on my/our repayment
history (including both positive and negative repayment history) and any defaults on
my/our payment obligations to Kiwibank to credit reporting agencies. Credit reporting
agencies may use the information provided by Kiwibank to update their credit reporting
databases. When other parties use the credit reporting agencies’ services, they may
be provided with my/ our updated information. Kiwibank may also use credit reporting
agencies’ services in the future.
