Credit for Articulation Agreement: Students must have completed at least 18 credit hours at LSUE before
articulated credit can be posted onto transcript. Students are not permitted to request credit under the articulation
agreement in courses in which they are currently enrolled; in courses they have audited; in courses they have earned
unsatisfactory grades; or in courses they have dropped with grades of “W”. For credit to be posted, students must be
registered for classes during the semester in which payment and final paperwork is submitted.

To b
e eligible, students must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Students must pass all pre-requisite courses with
a C or better and the HESI Mobility Exam. The highest scoring students will be accepted into the nursing program.
Nursing students must then pass both transition courses with a C or better to be awarded 14 hours of nursing
credit. Fees for this credit must be paid before the students may take these exams. Credit will be posted after the
14
th
class day of the semester that the students schedule these exams.
Advanced Standing Examination: Students must be admitted to the University and must be in good academic
standing. Students are not permitted to schedule advanced standing examinations in courses in which they are
currently enrolled; in courses that they have audited; in courses in which they have earned unsatisfactory grades;
or in courses in which they have dropped with grades of “W”. If a grade of “C” or higher is earned on the
examination, a mark of “P” and regular credit in the course is entered on the student’s record. If a grade lower
than “C” is earned, only the fact that the examination has been attempted will be recorded; credit will not be
allowed.
Student, please note: Transcript posting of credit cannot be made in advance of the student’s paid registration at
LSUE. Credit will be posted after the 14th class day.
