REQUIREMENTS
A-frame signs shall meet the requirements
of Section 1145.15 of the Grove City Code.
Attach a color photo of the proposed
sign with measurements.
1145.15 PORTABLE SIGN CODE
Portable signs may only be displayed by businesses located in the Central Business District. Before purchasing an A-frame sign,
contact the Grove City Building Division to determine eligibility.
All portable signs must conform with the Portable Sign Code, including but not limited to:
• Signs shall be a maximum height of 42 inches and maximum width of 36 inches.
• Signs shall have two equally sized panels, made of metal and finished black.
• Fixed copy panels or handwritten text shall be black, white or muted colors consistent with the HPA color palette.
• Moving parts, projections, lighting or attention-grabbing devices, such as balloons or streamers are not permitted.
• Signs shall be placed directly in front of the business and shall not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic.
• Signs must be at least four feet away from all sidewalk furnishings such as bike racks, benches, lamp posts and trash receptacles.
• Signs may only be displayed while the business is open.
