I/We understand that the permit applied for shall be subject to all provisions of the Code of
Ordinances of the City relating to parades, and I/we understand and agree that it is my/our
responsibility to comply with the following conditions:
1. An application for a parade permit shall be filed with the permit office not less than thirty (30) days
before the date on which it is proposed to conduct the parade.
2. An application fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be paid by the person applying for the permit at the
time of filing.
3. A map of the parade route must be submitted at the time of filing.
4. If parade will include vehicles or animals, a certificate of insurance designating the city as
certificate holder and as an additional insured and meeting all other requirements in Sec. 24-138 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Rosenberg must be provided at the time of filing the application.
5. If using a State right-of-way such as SH 36, US 59, FM 2218, US 90A, Spur 10, or FM 723, a
permit from the Texas Department of Transportation must be submitted at the time of filing. The
application from TxDOT can be obtained at or by contacting Ms. Sandra Flores-
Burch at (713) 802-5848.
6. The applicant and any other persons on whose behalf the application is made, by filing such
application do represent, stipulate, contract and agree that they will jointly and severally indemnify
and hold the City of Rosenberg harmless against liability for any and all claims for damage to
property, or injury to, or death of persons arising out of or resulting from the issuance of the permit or
the conduct of the parade or its participants.
