2018 CITIZENS ACADEMY
Come and learn what your police department does to help make the City of Lake Stevens a great place
to live and work. The 2018 Citizens Academy will be an 8-week course starting on September 6
th
. A
background check is required for all participants. Deadline to apply is AUGUST 31

. Classes are held at
the Lake Stevens Fire District 8 Headquarters Building located at 1825 South Lake Stevens Rd. Lake
Stevens, WA 98258.
The academy is conducted on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with two Saturday field trips. The
program will be taught by your local police officers, police specialists, city prosecutors and advocates.
This year’s academy will include tours, classroom instruction and demonstrations.
