Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes a graduate who has exhibited exceptional
volunteer or career leadership and personal character. Nominees must be a Carteret
Community College graduate who earned a degree or certificate. If you would like to
nominate a graduate to be considered in 2020, please fill out this form.
Deadline for nominations is February 28, 2020.
Each nominee is judged on the quality of his or her leadership performance and/or the
extent to which they have made a meaningful contribution to Carteret Community
College and/or the community. In order for the nominee to be adequately evaluated,
the quality of the nomination itself may be a factor in the selection committee’s decision.
Therefore, please provide sufficient information in the nomination by answering the
questions as completely as possible.
The selection committee consists of the Alumni Advisory Board.
Nomination rules:
• Nominations for the Distinguished Alumni Award 2020 must be submitted in
writing by February 28, 2020.
• Nominations are accepted by mail, e-mail, or in person.
• E-mail nominations to reashb@carteret.edu, or mail to CCC Foundation, 3505
Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
• The recipient will be honored at the annual Awards Ceremony event in May.
