Alumni & Friends Mission
The mission of the California State University
Channel Islands Alumni & Friends Association is to
create tradition, foster loyalty, and enhance relationships
among University students, alumni, faculty, staff, and
friends.
Who Are CSUCI Alumni?
All students who
have taken classes
at CSUCI are part of
the University alumni
family. You do not need
to have graduated to
become eligible.
Who Are CSUCI Friends?
Friends are those parents and
individuals who are not alumni
of CSUCI, but who would like
to become involved with the
University and participate in
Alumni activities. Friends who
join the Association will also enjoy
many of the benefi ts offered.
Alumni & Friends Association
The Alumni & Friends Association is a great way to
stay part of the CSUCI family. We provide services
and programs specifi c to alumni needs and keep
you informed of campus activities and news. The
Association also provides opportunities for you to
volunteer and champion support for future students of
CSUCI. We encourage participation in the life of the
University as a student, a graduate, and as a friend of
CSUCI.

How Does Joining Alumni &
Friends Benefi t Me?
As a member of the Alumni & Friends Association, you
will receive many benefi ts including career enhancement
opportunities, University and off-campus discounts,
and connection to University friends. Currently, the
Association offers continued library access after
graduation, discounts at the University student store, and
special invitations to University and off-campus events
such as our annual Dodger Night.
