Description: This training will cover the MCB CPS Ethics Code. There will be open discussions about real life ethical issues that are faced by those holding
the CPS including how boundaries are established, how to navigate work and personal recovery and how to work within a multidisciplinary team of
professionals.
Spirituality & Recovery

Description: We will discuss and provide an overview of the use of spirituality in the field of treatment and recovery support. We will also provide peer
specialists the forum to better understand and strengthen the use of spirituality and faith based recovery support services in their daily practices.
Understanding spirituality and its role in recovery for many peers and its use in many organizations can help peer specialists provide support to peers.
Peer Documentation Strategies & MCB Updated Peer Information
Date and Time: June 4, 2021: 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m. Trainers: Lori Franklin, Gail Erke, Jenna Strickland & Scott Breedlove
Description: This training will provide foundational instruction on the elements that support quality documentation practices and requirements for state
program billing expectations. Progress note essentials, writing a narrative versus documenting a service, and key points in documenting medical necessity
will be covered, in addition to the do’s and don’ts of documenting services. The training will also include MCB updates and overview of the Missouri CPS
program.
