Federal regulations require students to have a high school diploma or the recognized equivalent in order to be eligible for financial aid. A
high school diploma or the recognized equivalent may include a GED, or having completed homeschooling at the secondary level as
defined by state law. Due to COVID-19 interruptions, a signed statement attesting that a student has obtained a high school diploma or
the equivalent may be provided until December 31, 2020 as proof of high school completion status for both the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021
award years.
