Thank you for considering Mineral Resources’ sponsorship of, or donation for, your event. We
consider all requests fully and carefully. We will be in touch about your request within 30 days.
Eligibility
To receive donations or sponsorships, your organisation must:
• Be a registered charity or not-for-profit community service organisation, association or
society
• Operate in and benefit an MRL community
• Read and confirm that it will comply with all obligations under the Mineral Resources
Code of Conduct and Business Integrity
Areas of focus
MRL gives top priority to organisations and projects that support our key areas of focus:
• Health & Wellbeing
• Employment
• Education
Limitations
While we respect the efforts of many not-for-profit organisations to build stronger communities,
we are unable to support:
• Sponsorships that cannot demonstrate a direct relevance to our business strategy and
areas of focus
• Funding for activities that are considered hazardous, environmentally irresponsible,
unethical, illegal, conflict with MRL’s values or our Code of Conduct and Business
Integrity
• Fundraising for an individual
• Requests that benefit an individual person or family, unless it can be administered
through a registered charity/not-for-profit organisation
• Requests received less than one month before an event or after an event has occurred
• Churches or religious organisations, unless offering broad, non-denominational
community services
Please note: Mineral Resources has full and sole discretion in approval or decline of all of its
Community Investment programs. All Community Investment decisions or outcomes will be
provided in writing to applicants followed by a sponsorship agreement.
