BOILER PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
The Plan Examiners' reserve the right to call for any other additional information at time of filing.
Boiler / Heating Devices:
HVAC: (AC , Combustion Hot Air Furnace, Fan Blower, Compressor, Duct Work, Damper, Heat Pump., etc.)
HVAC PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
The Plan Examiners' reserve the right to call for any other additional information at time of filing.
1. Complete and file Building Short Form ( Boiler Permit Type) per General Filing Instructions.
2. Provide drawing(s) showing all piping and location of equipment.
3. Manufacturer's Brochure of all equipment, etc.
4. Any electrical work necessary must be done by a Westchester County Licensed Electrican under a separate Electric Permit.
5. Plumbing Permit by a licensed Plumber shall be required for gas fired appliances, heaters and all water supplied equipment.
6. A Flue and Chimney cleaning certification must be provided prior to initial startup. NOTE: If Chimney is condemned at
time of cleaning, then a separate Mechanical permit shall be filed for Chimney liner.
7. A Certificate of Compliance will be issued upon completion of all required inspections and documentation submission.
8. Any installation valued at $20,000.00 and above, must be designed by a Design Professional licensed in NY State.

Provide signed & sealed support details by Design Professional for equipment hung from wooden support structures.
3. Manufacturer's Brochure of all equipment and literature showing compliance with NYS Energy Code.
4. Plumbing Permit will be required for gas fired units and all water supplied equipment.

10. Exterior weather design conditions for White Plains shall be based upon a 12 B Zone per NYS Energy Code Tbl 302.1
11. New Heating & Cooling Equipment sizing:
Low Rise Residential- Submit ACCA Manual J load calculations for sizing systems and equipment.
All Other Buildings - Submit ASHRAE computations or equivalent procedure.
